U.S.S. Laffey DD-459 1942 - Dragon 1/350 Model Ship

Dragon's newest 1/350 scale ship kit features the subject of the energetic and innovative USS Buchanan Smart Kit (Item No. 1021) - the destroyer. This new model has been transformed into the well-known Laffey through necessary changes, including newly tooled flat-sided funnels and a forward superstructure bridge that accurately captures the appearance of the U.S.S. Laffey in its final days. With an ample amount of photo-etched parts (like louvers atop the funnel) and slide moulds, this kit also includes a set of six miniature figures to populate the courageous destroyer. Although the U.S.S. Laffey was discovered underwater in 1992 off the coast of Guadalcanal, Dragon's model brings it back to life in a playful and exciting way!
