Airfix Messerschmitt Bf109F-4 Starter Set

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is one of the coolest airplanes in aviation history. It was always on top of its game and constantly evolving, much like its rival Spitfire, throughout World War II. This was largely due to advancements in the Daimler Benz engine, which powered the Bf 109. Out of the five major versions, the F or 'Friedrich' is considered the most polished version. It made its debut in 1941, surpassing RAF Spitfires in service at the time, with many skilled Luftwaffe aces behind the controls.
