Black Powder British Rocket Bombarding Frame 2
Black Powder British Rocket Bombarding Frame 2
The Congreve style adds destruction and flames from on high to your British Black powder force. Developed by Sir William Congreve in 1808, based on rockets captured from the Indian state of Mysore, the eponymous Congreve rocket was made from a sheet-iron tube filled with gunpowder, topped with an explosive shell, and mounted on a long wooden rod. These rockets were fired from frames or racks, and while not always reliable or accurate, they were highly portable and easy to supply, making them a valuable addition to any military arsenal. Used extensively during the Napoleonic Wars, these rockets continued to evolve into a deadly weapon. This pack includes one Rocket Bombarding Frame with four crew members, all made of metal.
