The M26 Pershing Heavy Tank, named after US general John J. Pershing, provides American tankers with a powerful weapon in the form of its 90mm main gun and thick, sloped, and rounded 100mm glacis plate armour, giving them the confidence to take on enemy Tigers and Panthers. Crewed by five, the Pershing is the first truly heavy tank to see service with the US Army and gives soldiers the ultimate advantage on the battlefield.
