British Automated Carrier Konlikt '47
In British research and development, automation and automotive intelligence are advancing rapidly. By combining automated control units and armoured vehicles, larger weapon systems can be placed on smaller, highly mobile and elusive platforms. Despite occasional processing issues and failures, the combat potential of these vehicles is promising. After successful initial trials, deployment of a large number of automated carriers serves as a comprehensive field test for this concept. Utilizing the versatile universal carrier as a base, two infantry units are hardwired into the vehicle, one as the driver and the other as the gunner. With the removal of any extraneous limbs or body parts, the AI units take up minimal space, allowing for the installation of a twin auto-cannon weapon system. This level of firepower would be impossible to manage with a human crew due to recoil, noise levels, and limited crew space, but functions seamlessly with automated crew.
