A Versatile and Powerful War Machine

Designed primarily as a logistics and transport vehicle, the RSO proved invaluable for moving supplies, artillery, and troops across the muddy roads and harsh terrain of the Eastern Front. Steyr later developed this anti-tank version, modifying the standard RSO to carry the PaK 40, a gun capable of piercing even the heaviest Allied armour. 

With increased frontal armour, this version of the RSO provided mobile firepower on the battlefield while remaining cost-effective to produce. It became a key asset for German forces, offering both mobility and firepower in the fight against Soviet tanks.
