Tamiya Japanese Heavy Cruiser Chimkuma

Model details: 1/350 scale plastic assembly kit of the Japanese Heavy Cruiser Chikuma. Dimensions: 576mm in length and 71mm in beam. The model accurately captures the sharp design of the ship in its early-war form, before being retrofitted with extra equipment. Every detail is faithfully depicted, including features like signal lights and rangefinder antennas. The hull can be separated into port and starboard sections, with a one-piece lower hull beautifully shaping the bow. The turrets have precision-moulded panel lines and radiator slits, while masts and antennas are sturdy ABS plastic. Clear plastic is used for the bridge windows and searchlight lenses, while metal parts mimic anchor chains and propeller shafts. The ship even comes with detachable Nakajima E8N and Kawanishi E7K floatplanes, as well as display stands for depicting them in flight. A full hull model display stand is also included. 

Models supplied unassembled & unpainted. Paint and glue not included.
