Blood Angels Lemartes

When Astorath's axe halted on Lemartes' neck, the Chaplain did something unprecedented amongst the Black Rage's victims: he pleaded for his life, in order to continue his service to both the Chapter and the Emperor. Despite being consumed by the Black Rage, Lemartes' exceptional clarity of mind made him the ideal leader for the Death Company on the battlefield. He directs their blood-crazed frenzy towards a semblance of strategy, ensuring that their lives are utilized to their fullest potential.
